I didn't realize you went back that far to the DECN reporting days!

Only in my DD. If a job is worth doing it is worth doing properly.
Not that hard to find the holes in this particular rotten apple, but you had to dig to find teh actuality rather than just being able to accept company statements at face value!
It is ALWAYS a red light when you need to do that!

But its common sense to look back at what a company was saying, 6, 12, 18 even 24 months ago vs what they are saying now nd how they got from one scenario to the other. Good or bad, if their hindsight/foresight is remotely credible then they are well run. There will always be hits and misses even in well managed companies, but the management should be able to see them both coming and give alerts/heads ups in good time, and steer accordingly! Otherwise, what are they for???

DECN failed that sniff test massively!
Management has zero credibility!
