I like your take on this situation. I would imagine that to TA is otherwise a reputable business and if they felt legally compelled they would readily turn over all info to a otherwise legit owner if that owner offered up the correct bona fides. So someone is not playing fair and I am not so blinded by my gamble here to say it is just the TA playing keep away...
