#37609 RE: jgsnys #37608

would any data ever show evidence of sustainability?

Sure, good results would support sustainability. That's part of why you drill - discovery, then orebody assessment.

Let's be clear....there are good results, and there are bad results. The Mexus drill data are in the latter category, IMO. You cannot mine "noticeable results", the quaint term that PT used to indicate a slight bump in assays to indicate that they had encountered the vein. Most of the drill results were nothing more than "noticeable results". A meter thick interval of 0.25 g/ton Au on a steeply dipping structure.....simply not minable.

It is unfortunate that Mexus has not followed through on their promise to issue a technical report. Perhaps they could have somehow made a strong case as to why the Santa Elena can produce gold at a profit, for decades to come. It would sure have been interesting to see them try. And at the very least, it would have given them some credibility to be forthright and transparent (for a change).

Instead, we get rambling PRs with bizarre pseudo-statistics, and ever-changing tonnages, grades, and production numbers.
