I posted a couple weeks ago that with possibly only one or two events left when the IDMC met, they would or should have ended for futility if neither of the best and worst case scenarios could still meet the criteria for success. They didn't. Good to see an analysis along those lines from someone so knowledgeable!
I've been away for a great part of the day and appreciate your update and response to Biobonic's post.
It is hard for me to accept that the IDMC would have gone up to the last 1 or 2 patients feeling that the improvement was "0", so I would think they wanted to let this go to the end and then verify everything cleanly; seems bullish to me and I accept the fact that I defer to your expertise on this.
