UST could convert SPS to common and then sell common back to FNMA as a settlement for the derivative claim.

How is this a settlement ? How does F and F gain

I guess if the price was a penny a share when F buys it from Treasury?

My sense is the SPS should be viewed as ALREADY paid via the 300B sent from F and F to Treasury
