With all these patents, why haven’t they been taken over?

I think those are questions for Madigan or Beckett.

All the applications cost time and money, so I assume all are important. Since the system continues to evolve and new features are added, then it is wise to add more patents to protect all aspects of the system.

To me, two or three patents is not going to provide "enough protection", the more the better.
