my take, but I am also new so hopefully the veterans can correct me.

Basically they needed to raise capital to be able to operate. They needed cash to ramp up production for Bert. and need cash to continue to fund clinical trials.

So they printed more shares, and this means each share represents less of a percentage of ownership in the company.

I think this was expected, but it still makes each share worth 1/8 less by my rough math
