A difference between a fly trap in nature and a nanoviricide

The plant emits attractants that bring insects to it. A viricide does not do this.

Bindings between viricides and viruses occur because the system is flooded with enough viricides to make encounters probable.

Like all analogies the fly trap has its limits. But in general it's a good first step in imagining what happens.
