***BALONEY*** What Calabria did was smart because getting in sync with Basel III cap requirements keeps the GSEs out of the FSOC lair and any risk of the banking lobby filing recommendations for a SIFI declaration like they did in Watt's public comment period.

This issue is squarely in my wheelhouse.
