Could all the indictments and trials really be over in time for Foley to be in prison on July 4th?

Seems like a reach, especially since he's very experienced in delaying tactics. He dragged the GlobalVR fraud out for something like 6 years, much longer than his actual sentence.

For his second go-round, they're not dumb enough to fall for his more obvious tricks, like proffering a guilty plea in bad faith, but this trial is a whole lot bigger and whole lot more complicated.

GlobalVR was Foley and Dadonna, that's all; NTEK brings in all sort of ancillary players. It could take weeks just to fully explore the nature of his criminal partnership with Benny, for one thing. His exact relationship with Laciega, who'd also presumably be under separate indictment, would be hard to determine.

So what's a practical timeline for the start of his eventual prison term? I think we're looking at 2023.

Honestly, they clearly won't even have stopped the NTEK ticker by July 4th. They've let it sit there, gathering pennies from idiots, for years even after they knew it was a scam.
