If the general public did react, who would know? The mainstream media won't cover it.

It is not an easy thing for the general public to hold any of our gov't. officials accountable.. they just thumb their noses at us.

They are not accountable because they are virtually untouchable - except by revolution.

an example of what I mean in today's news..

She rejects their recommendation by what right? They all do whatever they want it seems. They can refuse to even answer a question, a petition, etc ..

It took over 400 days just to get bush to set up a commission to investigate 9/11. Even though he went on national tv and swore to leave no stone unturned to bring the perps to justice, he was not held to those words by congress. It took the tenacity of the 9/11 widows to force them into it.. as I recall.
