#78834 RE: AC11 #78821

Although the comments at Immunology Network on Dr P's paper are a review (of sorts) and done by peers, Immunology Network is not a journal, and the comments are not part of an official "peer review."

Instead, the Immunology Network is a part of the Oxford University immunology department website. It has a section for "COVID-19 Literature Reviews" in which post-docs chug through the plethora of papers getting posted to pre-print servers (like ResearchSquare and medrXiv) and put together what amounts to an annotated bibliography of new, pre-publication papers (although some published papers are featured as well).

That said, the comments do raise one important issue that the official peer reviews are likely to note and will need to be addressed, namely, the lack of a control group. Other than that, the comments are superficial and miss the main point of the paper...an obvious rush job.
