Rick Shykora is a player. He has been doing this for a long time. The others, the lawyer, the music mogul, the ambassador, the actor, the hip-hop "singer", they were likely just all pawns in this. So people jump on these message boards and tout the reputations of people they have never met, and know nothing about, saying that these wonderful people would never risk their golden reputations in a pinky scam. Here's the deal, these saviors of virtue put their pants on the same way you and I do, one leg at a time. They are subject to the same desires and influences as the rest of us. They get taken too.
