Others have predicted after the election time frame to get this done too. I would like to agree but have some questions

So when does cap rule have to be finalized for it not be over turned by next president and what else has to be done by what date to not be over turned by next president ie consent decree Spsa settlements etc?

And last but not least what if Trump wins election
Which is possible. Why would admin feel any hurry or rush to do anything like they have the past several years
And still want to do dec/January timeline?

Outside of court rulings forcing things to be done

If nothing substantial gets done within the next 7 months I doubt anything substantial will happen until the courts ultimately decide.

The administration is focused on the election. Poll numbers are bad, and getting worse, across mid-west battle states. Administration is doing nothing to make that worse or have the chance of it... hence after the election looks like the window.
