King oil, thanks for the note of appreciation, but the real thanks goes to Spideyboy for his science and medical contribution. I have continued to accumulate PLX in part thanks to his confirmation on the science and drug development. Also, I think there is a lot more to this story than just PRX-102.
As to the financing I believe they listened to the consultants who layed out the financing as the best plan at the time for their situation. And then Eyal pushed to get it done. One of the biggest puzzles to me is why they had not moved forward with a partner on PRX-106, even prior to the arrival of Dror and Eyal. Makes me think of two possible reasons: there is something in their Cheisi agreement that requires them to concentrate on PRX-102 until the BLA filing; or they really want to do PRX-106 by themselves. Later this year they should be able to do so. Just hope the conditions are such that they can get a phase 2B trial into high gear. Cheers!
