Is it normal for US listed companies to file these Annual Reports in China too?



Yes, it is for Chinese entities.

The one I showed you is a Chinese company (English : Gansu Asia-America trading company). Translated back and forth gives Gansu Yamei Trading company. And HERB's only Chinese subsidiary AFAIK. That one owned the 7 chinese subs before the asset swap, and the 5 plantations after the asset swap.

HERB has (or had) quite a few subsidiaries in the US as well. Most of them trials, dormant etc. Liquidated. All the value is in China, and specifically, the one subsidiary I mentioned.

Whether these chinese entities actually report revenues, profit etc I don't think so. It's for business registration. I think that should be reported in the SAT (tax) filings. There are no public records of this IIRC.
