I read the article that's not what it says. The argument against the facility is that we should be focusing on reducing plastic products from the start and not investing in converting it to fuel at the end of it's life. The argument for it is that there is some plastic and medical waste that is unavoidable and this facility is a more responsible way to dispose of it without throwing it in a landfill.
