Lol says one study the other study said no effect. An antiviral that doesn't reduce the virus. Wow just wow.

“Remdesivir has been shown to shorten infection.”

No. Remdesivir has been shown to shorten hospital stay. There is no actual proof that it works on the actual infection itself. And even it’s MOA on shortened hospital stay is unknown. It may have some immune supporting properties, but ‘shorten infection’ is inaccurate.

Cytodyn’s proof of effect on Covid is found in the paper that was submitted to Nature, and proven by viral load measurements that Remdesivir cannot compete with.
A very fine line, but very distinct between the two. Remdesivir has demonstrated worse than placebo on viral load itself.

In fact, I could almost go so far as to steal Fauci’s own words in saying that Remdesivir benefit is nearly anecdotal since very little objectively measurable beneficial data other than hospital time can be demonstrated.

Perhaps that’s why it fit the end point so well. The end point was hopeful and noble, but lazy from a clinical data side. I will end with that if Remdesivir can shorten hospital stay even a little, then that little bit of utility is beneficial. But that’s just it. It’s little. And Leronlimab is about to leap over it by miles.

How does an antiviral that doesn't kill the virus do anything? By tweaking the study of course.

If you want to keep up with what has been and is going on with leronlimab, follow this message board closely. These people are very knowledgeable and thorough. There's too much information for me to share in a single post.
