I attended today's zoom meeting featuring Dr. Ruth Arnon, truly one of the world's greatest biological scientists - ever. Dr. Arnon went through history of the development of M-001 from microscopic studies, viruses that affect bacteria, then her basic study of the influenza virus. Studies in transgenic mice were extremely successful. M-001 was improved and further modified for human trials. all successful. She spoke of her excitement over the upcoming completion of the phase 3 and noted that M-001, if successful. would need to be taken only once in perhaps 5 years, like a tetanus vaccine. Very good talk.
