Misery loves company, SAD isin't it? lol. but thats human nature for ya.
I think because wishful thinking CAN hurt investors. It's nice to be positive, but when the stock is hopeless, then it really doesn't matter. If you try to be positive in a hopeless situation, then you might be apt to invest more money into it and entice others to do so.
QBID was a boiler room scam and nothing more. Frank stole our money...bottom line. Investing calls for being real and truthful, not positive or negative thoughts.
