AZ, I must say I was immediately disappointed by what I saw yesterday in the 10Q. Will I be selling? Hell no. And do I think we deserve to be testing .01 again, absolutely not. But I'm not enjoying the goal posts moving so much.
I remember the July 2019 Q where G&A costs were high and the explanation was given that it was due to setting up BLF operations, and it would improve significantly in the subsequent Q. I remember hearing the words "net income" last year, as in we'd be seeing continual balance sheet improvements and achieve net income within a couple of quarters. I understand business is dynamic and things change, but the "net loss" continuing to grow instead is not encouraging!
I finally decided I wanted to ask the Anshu a question last night, pushed *1 and then right after, they ended the Q&A! My fault for waiting, but I wasn't properly lubricated at first. I think in total it was a three beer call? Or was it 4?? Who's counting...
At this point, I think the company needs some Form 4s for insider share purchases!! Pretty sure Anshu could put some of that $350,000 towards some open market purchases... I mean shoot, he's getting $1800 a month just for his car!
I guess what I'm saying is he's doing a fantastic job and does deserve compensation, but as a percentage of revenue, the overall compensation is a bit excessive. They say they don't know why the stock price is so low, but really they know exactly why!! Share repurchase, share cancellation... easy tasks that would have a direct positive effect on the stock price.
I'm sure we'll be looking good a couple of quarters from now, though I do remember saying that last year... bring on the TAM/ZC Top purchase orders!!
