I just don’t know how we can present the data early (on Friday) without jeopardizing the publication via NEJM. Journals typically do not want you to present prior to pub.

For papers meeting basic criteria described here, authors may submit abstracts using the NEJM Rapid Review request form. Due to demand, NEJM is only able to accommodate a small percentage of Rapid Review requests. Standard response time for Rapid Reviews is within two (2) days.
