Nice entry. I entered much lower myself. Oil will come back eventually. The world isn’t ready to be weaned off oil yet. Electricity is actually one of the most polluting energy sources because of the primary method of generation. Should be a good intermediate length trade.

This statement from CEO is one major factor for this stock:

The safety of that dividend remains one of the most important questions investors are asking right now. Exxon CEO Darren Woods has made it clear that keeping it intact is a priority. The stock's dividend yield is now 7.3%.

Now, all you daytrader, noninvestors and naysayers out there, or environmental whackjobs as the case may be, UNDERSTAND this, a company like Exxon (XOM), is in a very elite class itself, and just its global assets valuation alone (physically & intrinsically) in every sector from operations to equipment to buildings to infrastructure relationships in MANY countries and with MANY governments, makes this a stock that can never die; unless the world ceased to exist. This is a very rare situation and breed. It is NOT some stupid overhyped tech stock or social media nonsense stock so many creme their shorts for... This is in a paradigm in and of itself...

Once you understand this concept, you then will understand how it is reclaiming itself so quickly and will continue higher into the future... Why Investors/Shareholders are rewarded with a guaranteed dividend that is better than any crooked bank out there can even attempt to meet.
