Its been obvious for some time that this drug is effective. Out of 125 seriously ill patients in test trials in Chicago, only 2 died, the rest went home.
They have been using remdesivir and chloroquine at New York, New Jersey, New Orleans and China hospitals long before the trial results from Chicago came out.
Kind of a no brainer and it was already FDA approved for Ebola.
