Personally, I believe toxic pharma weighs heavily in the equation and that is one of the reasons why the stats are left muddy.
Humira is a great example of a drug that treats RA symptoms, not the cause of the disease, and trashes the immune system in the process. There are many others. Pharma is in the process of the same sort of seismic change that energy is going through.
Here's hoping that humanity survives the process...
