Qmc has already failed. Only your dream’s alive.

Do you believe QMC has a commercially viable QD for TV/displays product?

"Pretty disgusting that you'd rather see QMC fail trying to find a solution than succeed and get the world back to some state of normalcy."

If QDX HealthID is going to be successful, it must be based on scientific fact.

The World Health Organization's current research indicates that"

"Immunity passports" in the context of COVID-19
Scientific Brief
24 April 2020
WHO has published guidance on adjusting public health and social measures for the next phase of the COVID-19 response.1 Some governments have suggested that the detection of antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, could serve as the basis for an “immunity passport” or “risk-free certificate” that would enable individuals to travel or to return to work assuming that they are protected against re-infection. There is currently no evidence that people who have recovered from COVID-19 and have antibodies are protected from a second infection.

This may not be the final answer, but it is their current position.

As of 24 April 2020, no study has evaluated whether the presence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 confers immunity to subsequent infection by this virus in humans.

If QDX HealthID is going to give a Green status based on antibody testing then there needs to be a connection between Covid antibodies and immunity. If not, then there is increase the risks of continued transmission.

This is not the final answer. WHO said "As new evidence becomes available, WHO will update this scientific brief."

Does this mean that QMC should stop work on HealthID? No. The software could be useful for data collection and further studies. It could help collect data to determine which tests provide better results and if there is an antibody threshold that does provide a level of immunity.

When a vaccine is developed, the software could be useful for tracking who has been vaccinated.

Pointing out facts at this point that may limit the usefulness of HealthID or delay its use while addition research is done, does not mean HealthID and QMC is going to fail. It just shows that there are risks to success and people need to look at this realistically.

Blind faith in QMC is not going to get the world back to normalcy.

Per WHO:

At this point in the pandemic, there is not enough evidence about the effectiveness of antibody-mediated immunity to guarantee the accuracy of an “immunity passport” or “risk-free certificate.” People who assume that they are immune to a second infection because they have received a positive test result may ignore public health advice. The use of such certificates may therefore increase the risks of continued transmission. As new evidence becomes available, WHO will update this scientific brief.

If a solution is implemented in haste and does not properly protect the physical health of people, there is a good chance of greater widespread infections and deaths. Which is going to be more detrimental to the mental health of the world.
