It might be different in other countries, but yes here in the US there are too many that haven't and simply will not take any of it seriously, putting the rest of us at risk.
Like the hotel where I work nights..... we have chairs blocking certain areas and some people are too fucking stupid to get it. So what do they do? They pull the chair out and sit there like it's a bar or something, even with a sign posted. While it's funny to us at times, the reality of the situation is that Joe Public is often too dumb, and unfortunately the stupid don't have to wear name tags.
As for being diseased, how do we know unless we give them a test? How do we know if they're sick unless we take everyone's temperature at the door? Yes, big changes are coming for the restaurant industry, sports venues, and of course the hotels. Wanna have a hint of what's coming for the hotel industry? I'll fill you in on what's possibly coming down the pike. No more more food made to order or breakfast buffets outside of a much smaller continental spread. No more servicing of rooms until the guest checks out, unless the guest wants to put fresh sheets on their own bed. No more communal beverages, including coffee, water, tea, etc.
I don't know what Bezos has anything to do with this discussion, but I will say that Amazon has a bright future ahead of it. I agree with the other poster that malls are likely gone for good, as will other venues. Our way of living has changed forever, and Amazon will be even more vital to keeping us all sane on some level with the services they provide each of us
