I think niosh approves manufacturers, not the designs, but if designs are similar, using the same materials, I would think, especially now, the process would be expedited. It’s all about getting that application into them... and in the meantime, get a temporary emergency use approval from the fda. The material they use for the filter seems to have passed an fda approved lab.
