Kind of a faulty test. They didn't have equal stress on each strand of SS or it wouldn't have snapped some of them first. I bet if they braided it the SS would have tested much much higher. I tried to do and experiment like that for a Material Science class I took a few years ago, but Jon wouldn't send me any MonsterSilk.
