I Have no Idea Bagel. Maybe they didn't want it to effect the SP in a positive way. They've successfully kept it down this long, don't want to pr anything during weekday that might change that. If someone is looking toward a merge or BO, wouldn't you want to keep it as low as possible? If buyout price would be 50% over close, it makes a real big difference between a $40 stock to an $80 stock. JMHO
