kim is always too optimistic so its likely to take longer...but if they have such new wonderful tech with cassettes or whatever, why will it take so long to make the worm?..

and once they get the worm, it will take 2 more years (very optimistically no doubt) to commercialize...why?..thats 3 years away..they should be starting on that now..why would it take 4 years?...I say 4 years because that's the reality...at a minimum..

why not launch smaller scale production sooner?..

I agree, or hope they can do that but its speculation it's not a done deal yet.

That is why I wish he had gone into more detail. He wasted an oportunity to really sell the idea.

What most individuals heard is...they made pure spidersilk by knocking out the worm silk and knocking in spider silk.

Most investors did not or do not see the potential of non native protein production. It was not clearly explained.

Now saying that I only listened to what was said once. I may have missed him saying he hoped to produce non native proteins with the knock out worms. If he said that I missed it. But someone should have gone into some kind of detail of the potential of what that means!

The communication style of this man is so frustrating. He leaves out some of the most important details to really sell this company.

If they can infact do what you think and I hope they can than this is bigger than any fiber they are currently trying to produce.

It was a poorly communicated POTENTIALLY MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR breakthru.

IF they can do that this is WAY bigger than the first accomplishment of getting MS.
