I know that many have posted responses from Scottrade about being on the NOBO list...here is the message I received from them:

Dear Geoff:

Thank you for your email. According to a recent news story the dividend is not in the form of cash. It appears that shareholders of 10,000 shares will receive beneficial ownership of one square meter of a wildlife refuge. If you have not submitted a request in writing to be excluded your name will appear on the NOBO list. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for your business,

Thank you for responding quickly. Just wanted some further clarification in regards to the dividend I am to receive from PYPR. By looking at the NOBO list, will the company be able to tell that I am on that list and therefore be able to send me my dividend by mail? This is a unique dividend in that the company has claimed that they will be personally mailing out the dividend to the shareholders based on who shows up on the NOBO list (see copied PR below). Just wanted clarification that they will know that I actually hold shares in the company and would therefore receive my dividends.

Thanks,

Geoff

Dear Client:

Thank you for your email. Any and all shares held in any Scottrade
account are held in streetname (Scottrade's name for the benefit of the
client), not the individual client's name. Your name would not be on
the NOBO list. Scottrade's name is on the list representative of our
clients' holdings.

For your specific name to be on the list, you would need to request
physical certificates registered in your name to be delivered out of
your account.

Physical certificates can be requested by calling your local branch
office. There is a $50 fee per certificate and receipt can take 4 to 6
weeks depending on the transfer agent for the stock in question.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or comments.

Sincerely,

Kevin E. Kohler

A stock that I am invested in (PYPR) recently announced a dividend and I
just wanted some verification that I appear on the NOBO list.
Thank you,

Geoff

It appears to be consistent to what most others have posted...just save the emails that your broker sent you as proof if something does go wrong....
