Thats like having the govt apologize on tv naked.

This game has to end with the govt looking like "the winner". Even if they lose 49:51 it has to appear like they won.

Sadly this isn't about being fair nor is it about doing what is right... its politics.

So much time is wasted on wishful thinking and what people think should happen, but all of that is completely irrelevant. "Justice" and "fairness" went out the window a long time ago and they aren't coming back. (Not to mention that what actions would constitute those two words varies depending on who you ask)

What matters is what will happen, and that's where listening to plugged-in sources like ACG Analytics (they have had actual meetings with FHFA and Treasury about recap and release) is helpful.
