Usually on these stock schemes there are entities out there trading the inside information. Quite illegal and hard to stop. This is common in pink sheet stocks, which is a shame as not all are stock selling scams like the patent troll group. One thing that’s hard to hide is the tell tale stock price. An old wise man once told me they’re a penny for a reason.
