I'm a retired lawyer and retailing CEO with a considerable background/education in accounting. My portfolio is a Buffett-style buy/hold diversified bunch of blue chips and index funds (and bonds). Sensible rock-solid stuff. I'm an investor, a prudent businessman with a strong track record. I'm Not a crap shooter.

I haven't owned public shares in a retailer for decades. The sector is deeply troubled so that very few retailing investors will be coming back. And that was before coronavirus!

Firms like ASNA have almost no value. I'd especially point out that ASNA has almost no liquidation value, in my opinion. For example, most of its so-called "book value" exists only as accounting entries (store improvements, signage, furniture/fixtures) and can't be turned back into cash.

You can read my old posts on many IHUB boards. I'm rarely wrong, and especially in regard to retailing stocks. It's very unlikely that your ASNA shares will be coming back.
