My time and sales from Ameritrade stinks - I can't go back and look at anything, but there has regularly been 40k trades as well as 500k trades.... regularly - meaning pretty much every day. A couple days ago, three 533k trades went through within 10 minutes of each other. That is $4 mil a trade x 3.
The biggest ones occur during pre-market or right after market closes. Somewhere around my first day of trading this stock - maybe 3 weeks ago, there was a 2.6 mil block at around 4:02pm... minutes after close - likely a form t trade. Could just be a log jam during the day, but most likely a really large order that took the day to fill. It caught my eye along with the half dozen other decent sized orders during the day.
Today someone put 400k shares on the ask with one market maker. Someone was collecting at the bid at that time. I haven't seen one that big here, normally they put 100k at the ask while buying at the bid.
