Americans will likely see a second wave of coronavirus in the fall as Hong Kong experiences its third — a fate that could only be avoided with aggressive lockdown and testing protocols, a Boston-area virologist said.

“I expect COVID-19 to subside in the summer, largely because the virus does not live as long outside during hot weather,” said virologist Dr. Jack Regan, CEO and founder of Beverly-based LexaGene, which is making a coronavirus pathogen detection system. “I really think the virus is just starting to get going and this could get really bad in the fall,” said Regan.

Regan said the virus will continue to spread “rampantly” in the United States unless much more aggressive testing, contact tracing and long-term social distancing measures are put into place.

Conservative, but useful calculations!:

The $8/gallon amount is the wholesale price, sold to a large degree to businesses for commercial use. Some level of those sales will be at the retail level, which is as high as $40/gallon.

As a result, I suspect your $784,000/wk revenue stream is likely low, though an excellent conservative basis to make the point. This also means your near $41 million annual revenue figure is likely low as well. And that's just fluid sales, which could well continue to ramp higher and go on for a long time, especially given this coronavirus will return in the fall, and so on.

Just imagine once equipment sales/leases resume and begin to ramp higher, such as with a major UK deal to start, and I mean just to start. The market for this fluid and for this company's patented better mousetrap for using it is huge and global. PCTL is only at its infancy right now!
