You are entitled to your opinion. IMO the the state is helping expedite the acquisition of more tests, more testing is needed and NBDR can help. I don't think that's a controversial opinion but maybe I'm wrong.

NBDR, home tests with no need to mail back anything to a lab.
Abbott on site test administered by doctor/nurse, machine needed to analyse.

These are two horses riding a different race. Both have their space, one arriving before the other bares no consequence.
