Flipping's great, until you get left behind!
I've made plenty of money over the years swing trading volatility, or flipping as you call it, sometimes around a core, sometimes not. I have also at times been left behind, being out just when a stock takes off. I will NOT let that happen to myself here.
A stock with the potential that this one has, with it being IMHO significantly undervalued at the moment, the opportunity cost, the risk, of being left behind if out at the wrong time when it suddenly explodes higher is too great. I will forgo short term trading profits, in favor of holding for the long term here. For that is how the BIG MONEY is going to be made with this play.
Clapping oneself on the back for making maybe a few 100%'s gains perhaps thru flipping, if that's what you are earning so far, feels great short term, but I hope for your sake you don't get left behind and miss the many 1000%'s gains you could gain on the bigger move here. I don't know you, but if that happened to me, I would feel terrible, happy with pennies when it could have been dollars. It is one of the worst feelings in the world to have been big into a position, only to trade out temporarily and miss a huge run. I hope that doesn't happen to you, but that's your risk.
