Yep, I too would order, not a few, but 2 antibody tests, 1 for my wife and 1 for me. What kind of test? An antibody test to determine if the COVID-19 antibodies are present, which would provide the basic evidence to show my wife and/or I are immune or not immune to the disease. From this point forward, the only testing for me and my wife would be done in a point-of-service setting, i.e. a clinic, because one or both of us displayed symptoms.
Actually, when a clinic-administered antibody test is generally available, maybe in the relatively near future, we could do exactly the same thing as outlined above and our insurance would probably pay for it. That's right! No need to order and pay for a kit!
