not sure your point ?

r u horrified that one bout of a novel virus may kill a full third as many as all the cancers we all dread horribly - in one year ? If one bout of this flu is and continues to be 1/3 of all cancers - it is horrifying ?
Is that what you meant? Imagine if we hit 300 thousand deaths (I hope its more like 40,000 but models are so finicky)

What do I know - ? I know we were slow and we shot ourselves in the foot

On Feb. 26, when there were 15 reported cases of the novel coronavirus in the United States, President Trump predicted the number of cases would soon be “down to close to zero.”

On March 5, he hailed the fact that there were about 3,000 deaths worldwide but only 11 in the United States. (and now we lead the entire world - 25 days later ?)

On March 9, he noted that there were just 22 U.S. deaths and compared the virus to the seasonal flu, which has killed 37,000 people this year.

On March 13, he said the 2009 swine flu had killed 14,000 people in the United States and called the Obama administration’s response to it “a disaster” (so if 14,000 is a disaster what is 100-200 thousand?)

On Sunday night, the same president set the goal posts for his administration’s response to the coronavirus in a very different place.

In a White House briefing in the Rose Garden, Trump referenced new data from his task force and said that between 100,000 and 200,000 deaths would represent a victory over the coronavirus.

so we go from 5 to 11 to 50 to a 1000 to ONLY 100,000 and 200,000 deatsh would be a victory ?

People can love FOX and despise the networks or main stream

But while people are always entitled to their own opinion - they are not entitled to rewrite history and refute what is documented 100 places (including at FOX)

Let us hope the PH officials got it wrong
