U.S. cost of call is cheap. Phone cards for U.S. to Moscow can easily be bought ranging from 2.5 to 10 CENTS per minute, not dollars per minute. mrlongdistance . com cucumber . com etc.

I agree. Seems like they released this PR, hoping to appease shareholders, but I think they're figuring a lot of people won't call. It would cost quite a bit of money, depending on whether it is a conference call where you can listen for as long as you want, but you only have 1 minute to pose a question yourself. Just make sure this number you're calling isn't like a 900 number as in the US. Try using Skype instead of a landline phone. Skype rates are much much cheaper since it's through the computer.

For those that do call in, if it is really a conference call where everyone can listen to what other people ask, then I suggest the following. Compile a list of questions and post them all here. Then sort the questions by importance (with the most important as the first question). The day of the call everybody print out the questions and call up. Then 1 by one go down the list when it's your turn to ask a question. If you get cut off, the next person should immediately continue where it was left off. This should take Malashyev by surprise if anything. If he hesitates, you know he's trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
