If this is in fact the case the 1.5 million tests per month is probably vastly understated! If one Abbott test device can examine 20 samples per day, this equates to 30 million tests per month!

And DECN should just throw in the towel, they have no chance.

I plan to do the needed DD, but there might be a "missing piece" in the narrative about the Abbott Labs COVID-19 detection system only producing 1.5 million tests per month!

As indicated in the above, it is now verified that the new Abbott Labs' ID NOW COVID-19 test can do far more tests than the errantly cited 50,000 per day. As suspected, the 50,000 does in fact refer to the diagnostic module's production projection. Each of the diagnostic modules can perform many assays per day. The diagnostic modules went into production last week, with a target of 50,000 units per day. Abbott Labs has two FDA EUA-approved test modalities. The two combined are projected to deliver 5 million tests for the month of April. Of course, given a rapidly expanding installed base of the diagnostic modules, the monthly test count will grow exponentially month-to-month.

In total, Abbott now says that it believes it will produce 5 million tests in April, split between these new rapid tests and the lab tests that it received emergency use authorization for by the FDA on March 18.

JMO...DECN's opportunity in the medical point-of-service space is looking shaky at best. The Company's two opportunities would seem to be the home testing market, which is not high on the FDA's priority list, and "marketing" it's virus detection IP to potential partners or buyers. Underlying this speculation is, "what is the value of the IP?" Also, who actually owns the IP...DECN or Berman?

DECN CEO Berman, right now, is much, much much more important than you are, and not just to most DECN shareholders.

Like I said, when Berman's product works, and it will be his product, the patent will say so as will the news it will generate, the press will interview him....
