But the truth is contained in the body of the release.....
Initially, Mid-America will be managing the hotel until the close of escrow, which is expcted to occur within one to four months from February 1.
So obviously nothing has really been "finalized", as he states, since there's been no further announcement of them closing escrow, etc.
On the "bar/restaurant" it says....
During this interim period, Mid-America will be refurbishing the restaurant and bar, and will be performing other remodeling to the hotel itself
It should refer to the "banquet facility" being remodeled into a bar/restaurant. Why anyone would spend money to do that before closing on the property, is beyond me.
