03:37 PM EDT, 03/20/2020 (MT Newswires) -- iBio (IBIO), a New York-based biotechnology company, said on Friday that it has signed a purchase agreement with Lincoln Park Capital Fund, a Chicago, Ill.-based investment group and asset management firm, for the issuance and sale over three years of up to $50 million in common shares and an additional 815,827 common shares as commitment shares.
The company said in a regulatory filing that it will use the net proceeds of sales under the purchase agreement for working capital and general corporate purposes.
Shares fluctuated in intraday trading.
