That’s a mischaracterization. It’s being taken very seriously IN the counties where the spreads are starting to happen. And, I don’t feel like the rural counties that either don’t have any or maybe 1 are not taking it seriously either just because the Governor didn’t issue a state wide stay-at-home order. The national order is prevailing and there are no social gatherings and events in the rural counties... they aren’t going to work in many cases as far as I know and staying home. The counties with spread starting like Travis County (Austin city), Dallas County and Cook County along with other counties around Houston have stay at home orders enforceable with fine or even jail time ... although I would seriously doubt that would happen. At any rate, both authorities and citizens are taking it seriously here.
