SteraMist has been utilized in Singapore in the effort to help closed mosques reopen in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
For the first time in the history of the country, Singapore announced last Friday that all mosques must be temporarily closed to help stem the spread of SARS CoV-2 coronavirus after 82 citizens returned from a religious gathering in Malaysia with those thought to be confirmed with the virus. Two taken from the group have tested positive and the mosques have been closed to the public pending developments in further testing. While the mosques have been closed, professional cleaning services worked on the premises over the weekend, utilizing SteraMist disinfection. All surfaces and high-contact areas within facilities, such as Masjid Angullia - one of Singapore’s oldest mosques - were treated.
