In hind sight the whole thing lasted about two weeks. I was real sick for about a week. They never prescribed anything because they didnt know what it was. So the answer was go home if it gets worse go to the ER. What they are saying about your sense of smell has validity I never lost mine but my sense of smell and taste were distorted nothing smelled or tasted right. I treated it with upward of 5000 mg of aspirin a day it actually had me up and out the door by day four but with chills coming back about every for hours between doses of aspirin. And it ends with a massive sweat.
