Because this week the daily short interest report has been a low number....Ie 41% and below......If there is not dilution type selling and just normal selling and buying the daily reports will be 30 to 40%. And the volume will be down from the level of volume when the percent is 70-80%.

In other words , there will always be some low percentage of trades reported as short sales. But the high percentage of 70-80% and more is a sign of the MFO selling.And all this has absolutely nothing to say about the amount of real short selling. JMO!!!
