#719 RE: BOOMTOWN POSSE #718

BOOMTOWN POSSE' welcome to 'Kirkland Lake Gold (KL) -
following mark #2 to you -
KL my prime gold holding $100 coming - I agree my prime great
low cost high grade gold producer :-))
Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. (NYSE: KL) New All-Time-High in Sight

ANALYSIS | Published Mar 13, 2020 17:10 (+00:00)

Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. (NYSE: KL) is gold mining growing company
with highly productive yet low-cost mining operations in Canada and
Australia.

Last month, the company reported its revenue in Q4 2019
totaled $412 million, 47% higher than Q4 2018 and
an 8% increase from the previous quarter.

On a year-over-year basis, both higher gold sales and
an increase in gold price contributed to about half of
the $132 million increase in revenue.

The overall fundamental picture is looking healthy and if
the technical overview is alignment with this idea then
it would drive investors to buy the stock.

Since IPO, KL traded higher within an impulsive Elliott Wave
structure which reached equal legs area
$48.7 – $60.9 from September 2018 -

Up from there, it has the potential to rally higher and
break to new all time highs which would open a
bullish sequence for the stock with a minimum
target at extreme area $71 – $80 .
Consequently, traders can look for buying opportunities during
pullbacks in 3 or 7 swings as the overall picture for the stock
remain supported within a bullish trend.

KL Weekly Chart 3.8.2020
KIRKLAND

In addition KL has a lot of cash on the balance sheet so that portion
of there assets (over 10% of their market cap) should have held value
in this market decline I think if the gold price rises it should
benefit KL more than ABX because of KL's greater percentage of
gold endowment.
AEM had a bad year but their 2019 earnings are only about a half of
KL's.

Is KL an undervalued bargain ?

All gold miners have taken a big shareprice drop this week much greater than gold even with fridays drop in the POG back to the US $1520 range.

In trying to make sense of the KL shareprice compared to other gold miners I looked at Barrick and Agnico Eagle.

KL showed consolidated earnings in their Feb 20 report of $2.74/share but Yahoo shows $2.65/share.
I'm not sure why. These Yahoo earnings do not include the additional
earnings that will come in from the Detour mine from 2019 so just very
roughly Detour will have mined close to 600k oz at a profit of about
$300- $400 over their costs of around $1000/oz so there should be an
addition of lets say US $350M divided by the shares now outstanding of
286 million so about $1.22/share to be added to the KL earnings for 2019 (actual shares are less than 286M now due to buybacks).
For purposes below I used the Yahoo $2.65/share plus $1.22 from
Detour to give an estimate of KL's actual earnings for 2019 of
$3.87 to compare with ABX and AEM now that the shares issued
to buy DGC are included in KL's share base.

Any input as to why this KL earnings estimate is wrong would be
appreciated.

Until we have post merger data on KL's earnings and the value put on
Detour assets and its 2019 earnings its hard to compare but using
Yahoo Finance and US dollar values below is a brief comparison:

Stock share price earnings Market Cap

ABX/GOLD 15.67 2.26 27.91 B

AEM 37.27 1.99 8.98 B

KL/DGC 23.10 3.87 6.60 B

I know the market is concerned with the life of mine at its rich
Fosterville property but this is getting ridiculous.
KL's earning per year are by far the best of these 3 in fact they are
approaching that of both ABX and AEM combined on a per share basis.
Yet it is valued at less than a quarter that of ABX only ¾ that of AEM .
AEM had a bad year but their 2019 earnings are only about a half of
KL's.

KL mines mostly gold and in safe areas vs ABX which has a lot of copper
and some in not as safe mining regions.
In addition KL has a lot of cash on the balance sheet so that portion
of there assets (over 10% of their market cap) should have held value
in this market decline I think if the gold price rises it should
benefit KL more than ABX because of KL's greater percentage of
gold endowment.
The cash provides ready funds for exploration while others need to
borrow or issue shares to afford to explore.

The only thing that would seem to be holding back KL's share price is
the perception that it has a shorter mine life which
the Detour acquisition addressed somewhat.
Any exploration success this year at either Detour Lake or at
Fosterville will likely make this stock surge ahead meanwhile
Macassa is growing and will soon have more production from
the new shaft even if Fosterville begins to decline.

Bottom line is long term an undervalued KL looks like a
far superior bet than a bloated ABX which mines copper
in dangerous jurisdictions or
AEM which is having mine problems up north.

KIRKLAND LAKE GOLD REPURCHASES 10.1 MILLION COMMON SHARES, DOUBLES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND
T.KL | 2 hours ago

TORONTO, March 18, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. (“Kirkland Lake Gold” or the “Company”) (TSX:KL) (NYSE:KL) (ASX:KLA) today reported on progress with share repurchases through the Company’s normal course issuer bid (“NCIB”) and declared the quarterly dividend for the first quarter of 2020.

Share Repurchase Plan

10.1 million common shares repurchased:
A total of 10.1 million common shares have been repurchased through the Company’s current NCIB program. The repurchases have been made through the recently announced automatic purchase program (“ASPP”) and through discretionary purchases directed by the Company under the NCIB.
Based on progress to date, the Company’s is well positioned to achieve its goal of repurchasing 20 million common shares over a 12 to 24-month period.
A total of approximately $350 million (C$470 million) has been used to repurchase the 10.1 million shares.

Quarterly Dividend

Dividend doubled to US$0.125 per share: A quarterly dividend payment of US$0.125 per common share will be paid on April 13, 2020 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 31, 2020. The dividend represents a 100% increase from the previous quarterly dividend of US$0.06 per share, which was paid on January 13, 2020 to shareholders of record on December 31, 2019. The payment represents the 12th quarterly dividend payment made to shareholders following the Company’s adoption of a dividend policy in March 2017. The Company’s quarterly dividend qualifies as an “eligible dividend” for Canadian income tax purposes. For Canadian shareholders the US dollar dividend payment will be converted to Canadian dollars using the spot price exchange rate on April 10, 2020, the date prior to the payment date.
Tony Makuch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kirkland Lake Gold, commented: “We are very committed to using our substantial financial strength to return capital to shareholders through share repurchases and dividend payments. Although it is a difficult market environment based on current global concerns, we have maintained, and in fact increased, our focus on repurchasing shares through the ASPP and NCIB. When you consider our high-quality assets and industry-leading operating and financial performance, as well as the outlook for a very strong 2020, our current share price represents an excellent buying opportunity. Looking at our dividend, we have now increased the quarterly dividend six times since it was introduced in 2017. Our decision to double the dividend at this time reflects both the strength of our balance sheet and the ability of our three cornerstone assets, Fosterville, Macassa and Detour Lake, to generate significant amounts of free cash flow, particularly in the current strong gold price environment. We will continue our efforts to return capital to shareholders at the same time that we invest aggressively in the substantial growth potential and exploration upside at all three of our cornerstone assets.”

RE:Hemke on the cartel naked short covering
Hemke on the cartel naked short covering
The market data provided by the U.S. CFTC is deliberately sparse and opaque. However, when these Banks are grouped together with other firms that actually seek to provide legitimate hedging and trading facilities, the CFTC categorizes them as "Commercials". And on the Commitment of Traders report surveyed on Tuesday March 10, these combined "Commercials" in COMEX gold were NET short 328,304 contracts.

Each contract is alleged to represent 100 ounces of gold...so...doing the math...as of March 10, these "Commercials" were NET short 32,830,400 ounces of COMEX gold. That means:

• Every $1 rally from the COMEX close of $1660 on March 10 was a NET paper loss of nearly $33,000,000
• Every $10 rally from the COMEX close of March 10 was a NET paper loss of $330,000,000
• And a rally from $1660 to $1690 would add another cool $1,000,000,000 to an already-hefty pile of paper losses.

So, when The Bullion Banks got the inside, secret word of rushed-forward FOMC schedule, they KNEW they had to act fast. If COMEX gold remained near $1640 and then blasted $100 higher on the FOMC news, the "Commercials" would have added another $3.3B in paper losses heading into the end of the first quarter.

Instead, by taking immediate action, The Banks not only reset price $150 lower BEFORE the FOMC news rally could begin, they also were able to cover an untold number of their short positions by taking the buy side of the Spec liquidation selling they had engendered by using all of the same dirty tricks (spoofing, etc.) for which they are currently under federal investigation.
So, look, I could be wrong. Maybe ten years of monitoring and tracking the every move of these criminal Banks has left me jaded and cynical. That's possible. But it's more than possible that, instead, what gold investors witnessed last week was blatant overt price manipulation that was taken by Bank trading desks after they had received inside word of a change in the FOMC calendar.
In the end, for long-term gold investors, what you've just read hardly matters. Though The Banks may have bought themselves some time and lessened some of their potential losses, it's undeniable that significantly higher gold prices are coming over the horizon in 2020, as the global central banks rush to devalue their currencies by funding the TRILLIONS in government spending that will be needed to overcome the economic devastation of the coronavirus.
To that end, this latest criminal price manipulation effort by The Banks is actually a gift for gold (and silver) investors. Once rational thought returns to the global markets, the economic reality of these ongoing Central Bank actions will sink in. When it does, the demand for gold and silver in all their forms will likely skyrocket.

Hemke, thank you,
the NWO banksters gangsters mafia should
have been taken to court justice and
prison for a long time ago!
What I can say about NWO Satan's banksters evils;
Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devils walks about
much worse than roaring lions and alligators,
seeking whom they may devour.
Resist NWO banksters mafia evils, steadfast in faith.
Therefore submit to God,
Resist the devils and they will flee from you.
